Mustang Public Schools

Description

At the heart of the community is the Mustang Public School District. Covering 69 square miles in Canadian and Oklahoma counties, the district is home to more than 9,500 students. Mustang Public Schools is the largest employer in Canadian County with 1000 employees, including 625 certified teachers and 30 administrators. Although the district includes 10 school sites, it retains the small-town feel that Mustang residents appreciate, while offering students all the opportunities available in a large district.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Mustang Public Schools, as a dynamic educational community, is to enhance the potential of all children and to develop responsible, productive citizens through comprehensive, innovative programs.

This includes, but is not limited to, admissions, educational services, financial aid and employment. Inquiries concerning application of this policy may be referred to the Deputy Superintendent.
