Mission Statement

We believe that education is a long time investment on the part of our state. We recognize our duty to provide experiences for children which lead to emotional, economic, social, and political adjustments in a democratic way of life. Free public education is justifiable, we believe, to the extent that it makes the supporting state a better place in which to live and to make a living. The attainment of these objectives necessitates with all agencies in community life, including the school staff, local board of education, as well as the community. We therefore, commit ourselves as a public school to meet the educational needs of all our students. In doing this, we understand that children have a variety of learning styles and blitzes. These will be taken into consideration in the development of the school's teaching strategies. The school will assure that teaching methods are implemented that will provide the greatest opportunity for each child to achieve their full potential in an equitable manner and each shall develop competencies in the basic skills as well as critical thinking skill as outlined in the State Performance Outcomes.
