Position Summary:
Morgan Elementary School is seeking a caring, qualified, and motivated School Nurse to join our team. The School Nurse supports student health and wellness, manages health plans, provides first aid and emergency care, and contributes to a safe and healthy school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for students with acute and chronic health conditions.

• Administer medications and treatments according to the physician’s orders and school policies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records.

• Monitor immunization compliance and communicate with families as needed.

• Collaborate with staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student health and attendance.

• Participate in IEP/504 meetings and assist in developing health plans.

• Respond to school emergencies and provide crisis intervention when necessary.

• Educate students and staff on health and wellness topics.

Qualifications:

• Required:

• Valid Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

• Current CPR and First Aid certification

• Successful BCI/FBI background check

• Ability to work independently and manage a busy office setting

• Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or public health

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Familiarity with school health protocols and electronic health record systems
