Edge Academy, The (District)

The Edge Academy is an independently run charter school in Akron, Ohio founded by Mr. and Mrs. Dudas over 20 years ago. Since then, the primary aim has been to create a learning environment where student’s educational and social emotional well-being is at the forefront of everything the school does. The school provides a smaller learning community which allows the teachers, staff, and administration to provide a more personalized education for all students. The smaller community also allows us to build lifelong relationships with families which allows students and parents to gain a love of learning and find their forever school home.

The Mission of The Edge Academy is to become one of the highest performing community schools by creating a climate and culture which facilitates ongoing learning and success inside and outside the classroom.
