Position Overview
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the Kindergarten Teacher will facilitate student success by:
  • Implementing a standards-aligned curriculum
  • Fostering academic and interpersonal growth
  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom
  • Supporting individual learning needs
  • Maintaining consistent communication with students, parents, and staff

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Develop and administer engaging, standards-based lesson plans
  • Conduct individual and group instruction, adapting as needed
  • Use data to assess progress and adjust instruction
  • Maintain accurate records for attendance, achievement, and behavior
  • Encourage parent involvement and build strong family communication
  • Support school-wide expectations for behavior and citizenship
  • Collaborate with grade-level teams and attend school functions
  • Supervise students during class and school-related activities
  • Administer district and state assessments



Qualifications & Skills:
  • Valid Ohio Teaching License 
  • Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Knowledge of differentiated instruction and data-driven decision-making
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
  • Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
