Position Overview
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the Kindergarten Teacher will facilitate student success by:
- Implementing a standards-aligned curriculum
- Fostering academic and interpersonal growth
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom
- Supporting individual learning needs
- Maintaining consistent communication with students, parents, and staff

Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and administer engaging, standards-based lesson plans
- Conduct individual and group instruction, adapting as needed
- Use data to assess progress and adjust instruction
- Maintain accurate records for attendance, achievement, and behavior
- Encourage parent involvement and build strong family communication
- Support school-wide expectations for behavior and citizenship
- Collaborate with grade-level teams and attend school functions
- Supervise students during class and school-related activities
- Administer district and state assessments
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid Ohio Teaching License
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction and data-driven decision-making
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
- Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
