Description

The system provides educational services to over 48,000 students in 53 fully accredited schools. Academic, vocational, technical and pupil support programs are offered through a curriculum designed to meet the needs and the interests of students. Special schools and programs are available for students with special needs. Currently, the system has four year-round elementary schools and one middle school, which offers an optional calendar to students. Union County Public Schools recruits professional employees who are committed to the total development of students. There are approximately 4,500 employees.

Mission Statement

"Preparing All Students to Succeed" is the mission statement of Union County Public Schools. We wish to graduate responsible, contributing citizens who are culturally aware and prepared to meet global standards of competition; we will accomplish this in a cooperative effort with parents and community by creating an interactive and collaborative learning environment which provides challenging, diverse curricula, innovative personnel, and the most current technology in a safe and secure atmosphere.
