Duplin County Schools

Description

The fifteen schools within the Duplin County School System are accredited by the State and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. State and nationally recognized programs, quality instructional materials, advanced technology programs and excellent media centers help teachers challenge students to become their best. The schools are community based and foster a collaborative relationship with parents and the community. In Duplin County, we believe that all children can and will learn and we are committed to doing whatever it takes for each child to succeed. We are a rural school district in the middle of "nowhere" but are just a few minutes from "somewhere". We are only an hour to the beaches and four hours to the mountains. Interstate 40 winds through the county and leads to cities that provide entertainment and cultural experiences that appeal to almost everyone. You can have the best of both worlds - the serenity of a rural setting and access to city activities.
