Mesa Vista Consolidated Schools

Mesa Vista Middle/High School is located in Ojo Caliente New Mexico, in the North Central Range of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains about 30 Miles North of Espanola. The primary home and social language is a mixture of Spanish and English. The student population at Mesa Vista is comprised of 80% hispanic students; 10% anglo students; 8% Native American students; and 2% Black students. Current Enrollment of both the middle and high school is about 260 students grades 7th thru 12th.

The goal of Mesa Vista Schools is to provide all students with the opportunity to achieve the skills, knowledge, and values, which are necessary to become contributing members of society. All students graduating from Mesa Vista will have the skills necessary to enter a program of study at the university of their choice and pursue a career that will make them successful. Student leaving Mesa Vista will also possess the Social Skill and values that will help them create the positive relations necessary for success.
