Mission Statement

We are the Cherry Hill Public Schools, where opportunities for student growth and learning extend beyond the classroom and the school day. At our high schools, we offer a wide array of interscholastic athletic programs as well as more than 65 extracurricular opportunities focused on vocal and instrumental music, drama, student government, publications, and academic, business, and ethnic culture clubs. Our three middle schools have more students than ever participating on A and B teams and hundreds more participating in music, student government, publications, drama, and peer leadership. And each year, students from all of the Cherry Hill Public Schools give back to the community through thousands of hours in community service. We are the Cherry Hill Public Schools, where taxpayers realize a great return on their educational investment. We continue to spend below the average district in the state We direct a higher than average proportion of total cost per pupil to the classroom Our school tax rates are comparable to those of many surrounding districts. We are the Cherry Hill Public Schools, where an investment in our children is an investment in their future and the future of this community. We are an institution that deals with thousands of kids on a daily basis. We accept them all, regardless of race, religion, gender, nationality or ability, and commit to those children to do our best for each of them—from the three-year-old in the Barclay preschool inclusion class to the high school senior in AP Calculus, and every student in between.
