Carson City School District

Carson City School District serves approximately 8,800 students in grades K-12. Our students are served by 1 high school, an alternative high school, 2 middle schools, and 6 elementary schools. The District employs nearly 950 full-time staff members to provide instruction and services for our students.

The mission of the Carson City School District is to contribute to the development of successful young adults who will make healthy contributions to themselves, their families, the State of Nevada, our great nation and the world.
