Description

Lincoln County School District is located in South Eastern Nevada. It boarders Utah and is an area rich in history. Agriculture, mining, the railroad, and ranching are the storied occupations. Original townships are: Alamo, Caliente, Hiko, Panaca, and Pioche. Outlying communities include: Ash Springs, Atlanta, Barclay, Caselton, Dry Valley, Eagle Valley, Geyser, Lake Valley, M. Wilson, Rachel, and Rose Valley. There are a number of state parks in the county.

Mission Statement

We are committed to helping every student succeed in learning. All students will learn essential academic outcomes, plus the skills and habits of mind to become life long learners. Our students will gain a passion for learning and develop the art of caring for others by the example we set. Our ultimate goal is to nurture and reveal individual greatness. In Lincoln County School District our main focus is to "Keep the main thing the main thing." Our purpose is student learning. Everything else is secondary. We have established a vision statement for support services and for management and leadership, as they support students and educators in the goal of increased student learning.
