Position Announcement: Elementary Teacher

Position Available:
Pre-Kindergarten Teacher (1 Position)
Type:

Teaching position for the 2025-26 school year, supervised by the school principal or designee.

Duties:

  • Ensure students learn the subject matter and develop essential skills.
  • Plan lessons and prepare instructional materials.
  • Instruct and assess student learning and understanding.
  • Participate in staff development training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with staff, students, and parents to enhance student achievement.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Montana teacher certification with the appropriate endorsement.
    • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Preferred:
    • Prior teaching experience.
    • Proficiency in technology.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary based on the current Teacher Master Contract, dependent on degree and experience.  Base salary for a BA with no experience = $47,062.00.
  • Benefits include:
    • Montana Teachers’ Retirement.
    • Health insurance.
    • Discretionary leave.
    • Moving reimbursement based on mileage.
Pre-employment Requirements:
Successful completion of a drug test and criminal background check.
