Description

The Jackson-Madison County School System is a diverse and forward-thinking school system located in Jackson, Tennessee. Our city is conveniently located on I-40 between Memphis and Nashville. Comprised of 27 schools and 13,000 students, JMCSS is a district that offers a variety of education programs for all students including magnet schools, career and technical education and open enrollment opportunities throughout the district. JMCSS is the second largest employer in Madison County with over 1,100 professional staff and over 800 support staff. Beginning with our Pre-K Center through Grade 12, students in the Jackson-Madison County School System will find academic excellence, quality programs, competitive sports, well-trained instructors and students obtaining the preparation they need to become tomorrow’s leaders.
