Jackson County School District

Jackson County Schools is located in the northern part of middle in Gainesboro, Tennessee, the county seat of Jackson County. This is a beautifully scenic area. The Cumberland River meanders through the county from one end to the other providing many opportunities for recreation.

Our purpose is to ensure an educational experience that will result in successful, motivated students who will become lifelong learners. In partnership with the family and community, we will strive to prepare each student to live successfully as a contributing member of society.
