Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Chorus/Vocal, Music (General), Orchestra.
The license must be in one of the following grades: 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th.
Description
Minimum B. A. in Music Education with background in vocal, general and instrumental (band) music
• Hold a Utah Teachers' License from Utah State Office of Education.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Utah Music Standards for Middle School students • Experience in building and sustaining a quality Middle School band and vocal program preferred
• Demonstrated ability to ensure student academic success/experience in Middle School Education preferred.
• Strong background in integrating the teaching of reading and writing and problem solving skills with the music curriculum.
• Able to work as a team member
