Must hold a certificate issued by Oklahoma State Department of Education.
The certificate position area must be in one of the following areas: Archery, Athletic Trainer, Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Gymnastics, Soccer, Softball, Strength & Conditioning, Swimming, Tennis, Track, Volleyball, Weights, Wrestling.
The certificate must be in one of the following grades: 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The certificate status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.

Position Overview:
Newcastle Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to serve as the Assistant Track Coach at Newcastle High School. This role involves supporting the school to be successful on the field while helping to facilitate a successful overall program for our student-athletes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical coaching and support to student-athletes to ensure success on the field.
Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students.
Assist in the management and facilitation of a successful track and field program.
Maintain high standards of professional conduct in accordance with district policies.
Qualifications:
Relevant coaching experience or certification as required by the State of Oklahoma and Newcastle Board of Education.
Ability to pass all required background checks and drug screenings.
