Per Diem Custodian
The Secaucus Board of Education invites qualified and interested persons to apply for the position of Per Diem Custodian.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of a High School degree or equivalent.
- Custodial/Maintenance experience a plus.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift a minimum of twenty (20) pounds.
BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sweep, dust mop, and/or vacuum floors.
- High dust, clean and polish furniture/desks.
- Empty wastebaskets and deliver waste to dumpsters.
- Bathrooms: clean stalls/urinals; replenish toilet tissues, paper towels, and soap dispensers; clean sinks; mop floors.
- Dust mop and clean floors.
- Building premises, including sidewalks, driveways and play areas must always be maintained; this includes snow removal.
- Perform other custodial/maintenance duties as assigned.
Hourly Rate and Employment
Compensation: $17.00/hour
