Part-time Academic position at Good Foundations Academy, a charter school with 450 students. The Academic Para is responsible for assisting the classroom teachers in implementing a successful Tier 2 intervention program.
Good Foundations Academy offers a unique education program with an emphasis on charter education and academic excellence. Our academic Paras receive training in reading instruction, behavior management, and assessment components. They work together to provide effective Tier 2 intervention strategies with grades first through sixth.
Duties and responsibilities • Work with small groups of students as assigned • Create a positive atmosphere in the classroom • Administrative support (copying, filing, etc.) • Assist in individual assessments • Passion and embodiment of character education • Attend meetings and training as required
