Lumen Scholar Institute is an online charter school located in Orem, Utah. We are now accepting applications for a Secondary Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. 

Lumen provides our students with a high level of engagement and support from our teachers and staff. The majority of instruction is done live in a virtual classroom with periodic in-person learning activities and social experiences. 

All full-time teaching positions require work to be done Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Work hours vary for part-time positions. Teacher contracts begin August 4th and end June 5th.

Teaching positions are remote, however, teachers are required to attend in-person student activities and employee meetings as State and Health Department guidelines permit. 

Technology equipment is provided by the school. The remote workspace must be approved by the school to ensure limited viewing of the teacher's personal space. Teachers must have a dedicated workspace in order to leave the equipment set up and avoid interruptions during the workday.
