Primary Function: To plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program, as designated by the School District, in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.
The position will be: Licensed elementary teaching position (K-5). Open to both general and special education licensed teachers The teacher provides education/instruction for 5-6 students in a Day Treatment Mental Health Program (Meadowlark-Children's Day Education Center with the support of a Education Skills Trainer. Meadowlark-CDEC provides individual, family, and group therapy while also receiving academic instruction during the day. The program is a partnership between Trillium Family Services (Mental Health Provider) and Salem-Keizer Public Schools.
