Job Description Building Secretary
The building secretary will impact the educational process by maintaining a well organized office that will contribute to the administrative process.
Qualifications The secretary must have a high school diploma and previous secretarial experience. He/she must possess superior typing and computer skills. Business course would be beneficial. The secretary must have excellent communication skills.

Supervisor The secretary will report directly to the building principal.
Duties 1. Perform work as secretary to the building principal and assistant principal. 2. Perform correspondence typing and filing. 3. Greet all visitors to the building. 4. Maintain student and enrollment records. 5. Maintain student and staff attendance. 6. Answer phone and direct calls. 7. Keep abreast of supplies for office and order when needed. 8. Record and monitor all purchase orders. 9. Monitor and maintain operation and maintenance of copiers, soda, and snack machines. 10. Maintain the building inventory. 11. Notarize documents for students, parents, and faculty. 12. Perform any other duties requested by principal and assistant principal.
