Substitute Instructional Assistant

Location: Early Learning and Family Center | Status: Non-Exempt, Temporary | Schedule: 8:30-2:30, Hours Varies | Days: Student contact days only

Position Summary:

With the focus to support and advance the Edina Public Schools' mission, vision, and core values, An Instructional Assistant assists teachers in conducting general classroom activities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Associate's Degree or at least two years of post-secondary education (a minimum of 60 semester credits)
Experience working with students
Experience working with diverse student populations
Strong communication skills

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: The hourly wage for this position is $21.84 per hour.

This is a temporary/casual position. Eligible employees will participate in the state's largest pension program, the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA).
