BERGEN COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICES ANNOUNCEMENT:  POSITION OPENING  

The Board of Education is seeking applications for the 2026-2027 school year for the following position:

1:1 TEACHER ASSISTANT    (10 Months – Non-certificated) SPRINGBOARD PROGRAM

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma.
2. Effective written and oral expression.
3. Demonstrated ability to work with or experience working with children with disabilities.
4. Must be able to perform physical work which requires frequent lifting and bending. Independently lift/carry up to 25 lbs., more than 25 lbs. with assistance.
5. Willing and able to complete Elwyn training.
6. Willing to work with students in a community setting
7. New Jersey residence within one (1) year from date of hire.
