Avoca Central School is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Substitute Cleaners for the 2026–2027 school year. Substitute Cleaners help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and other school areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.
- Empty trash and recycling containers.
- Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
- Follow established cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Report maintenance concerns or unsafe conditions to the appropriate staff.
- Perform other cleaning and custodial duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Dependability and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
- Willingness to comply with all applicable health and safety requirements.
