Location: Silver Creek Primary School

Status:    Full-Time

Beginning Date: September 7, 2026

Qualifications:    

1. Minimum Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred
2. Successful experiences collaborating with teachers, staff, students, and community members.
3. Social work or counseling background (preferred)
4. Professionalism and confidentiality in all matters and especially in accordance to FERPA

Responsibilities & Duties:

1. Serve as the main point of contact for community outreach to establish local partnerships and positive relationships with SCP; notably for referral purposes and student needs.
2. Provide parent resources and skills training to improve student success within the school environment.
3. Participate in the RTI process for student behavioral and social-emotional needs.
4. Implement and facilitate social-emotional learning (SEL) small groups.
5. Lead the social-emotional focus for all students and staff at the building level.
6. Lead the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) team.
7. Participate in the retention process for students.
8. Provide student discipline follow-up as part of a response team.
9. Focus on attendance protocol and follow up with families to ensure policies are followed.
10. Serves as a member of the SCSC Counseling team.
11. Crisis Intervention Team Member
12. Annual School Supplies Drive
13. Implements and oversees Zones of Regulation
14. Writes grants for funds to support family needs
15. Other duties as assigned 

Contractual Days: Beginning to End of School Year: One hundred ninety (190) days (180 student days plus 10 holidays).
