• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework in health, child development, or related field preferred.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
• Experience working with children in an educational, medical, or childcare setting is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with district policy, FERPA, and HIPAA.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff, and outside agencies.
• Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist students as needed, including toileting and personal care.
• Good moral character.
