BERGEN COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICES ANNOUNCEMENT: POSITION OPENING   The Board of Education is seeking applications for the 2026-2027 school year for the following position:   HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL (10 Months – Non-certificated)  DISTRICT

Qualifications: 1.     Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey. 2.     Must be able to perform physical work, which may require frequent bending and lifting.  Independently lift/carry up to 25 lbs., more than 25 lbs with assistance. 3.     Should have familiarity in working with students with significant physical and intellectual disabilities. 4.     Should have familiarity in working with students with complex medical conditions. 5.     Experience working in a school setting with students with special needs. 6.     Effective written and oral expression. 7.     Demonstrated ability to work as a team player. 8.     New Jersey residency within one (1) year from date of hire.   Compensation Rate/Range: $59,879 - $71,000 Click here to view the benefits: BCSS Education Association Contract 2023-2026
