Description

The Anamosa Community School District is seeking a caring, dependable, and student-centered paraeducator to join our Raider team. Paraeducators play an essential role in helping students succeed by providing academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and personal support under the direction of licensed staff. Responsibilities may include assisting students individually or in small groups, supporting classroom instruction, implementing student plans, supervising students, collecting data, and helping maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

What makes Anamosa special is our close-knit community and shared commitment to every student. Our staff members know their students, build meaningful relationships, and work collaboratively to meet individual needs. Employees are valued members of the school team and are supported through training, communication, and opportunities to grow.

If you are patient, compassionate, flexible, and interested in making a meaningful difference in the lives of students, we invite you to become part of Anamosa Community Schools - a district rooted in excellence and proud to be Raiders.

If you have any questions, please contact Tyler Denton, Middle School Principal, at tdenton@anamosa.k12.ia.us. Job description attached.
