Date: August 10, 2026 From: Office of Superintendent Subject: Vacancy Position: Non-Teaching Assistant – Carson Pennsauken Public Schools is an urban/suburban Pre-K to 12th grade school district of approximately 5,000 students located in Camden County, New Jersey Responsibilities:
- Patrol corridors, stairs, stair wells, lavatories, cafeterias, parking lots, etc.
- Provide assistance in proctoring co-curricular and athletic activities
- Provide assistance in proctoring internal suspension and detention.
- Assist the school administration in maintaining and enforcing school discipline policies, dress codes and attendance policies.
- Assist in maintaining order during the boarding and departure of buses, as well as monitoring the arrival of students.
- Shall be responsible for any duties assigned within the scope of employment as assigned by the school administrators.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Must have at least 60 college credit hours completed
- Experience working with children
- MUST pass NJ Criminal History Review Unit fingerprinting requirement
- New Jersey state residency requirements for public employees in effect
Terms:
- 10 month position with health benefits
- $32,940 terms, and conditions of employment per contract
