VACANCY FOR THE 2026 - 2027 SCHOOL YEAR

Assistant Transportation Supervisor This position assists the Transportation Supervisor by performing the following tasks:

Dispatch with transportation fleet
Communication with parents and vendors
Scheduling and coordinating activities of drivers
Designing student transportation routes
Maintaining student and driver databases
Driving a school bus as necessary

Qualifications:

CDL Class "B", with passenger, air brake and school bus endorsement
NJ Student Transportation Supervisor Certificate Preferred
Knowledge of laws, regulations, and procedures pertaining to student transportation
Requires organizational skills and the ability to communicate professionally
Responsibilities include, but not limited to dispatching, staff supervision & coordination, routing, training, clerical work, and driving a school bus

12 Month, Non-Represented Position: Salary, Health Benefits, and other compensation provisions set by the Wall Township Board of Education.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000
