Middletown Township Public Schools is looking for qualified Paraprofessionals for our ESY (Extended School Year) Program
Extended School Year Program - Out of District Paraprofessionals
The Extended School Year Program (ESY) is designed to support students with disabilities who require continued educational services beyond the traditional school year. The program will run Monday through Friday, from July 7, 2026 through August 7, 2026, from 8:30am to 12:30pm, and will be held at Harmony Elementary School and Thorne Middle School. Staff hours will be from 8:15am to 12:45pm.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 48 college credits or passing the Paraprofessional Praxis test required
- BS/BA degree preferred
- Teaching Certificate preferred
- Experience working with students in self contained programs preferred
Stipend: $15.92 per hour (based on grant funds dependent on student enrollment and budgetary constraints)
Paraprofessionals who do not have an assignment in Middletown during the 2025-26 or 2026-27 school year will need to apply through ESS: www.ess.com
