POSTING DATE: July 5, 2018 QUALIFICATIONS: ? Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate; Highly qualified in the State of Michigan ? Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree ? Extensive knowledge of Common Core State Standards & Michigan State Standards ? Must demonstrate knowledge of Positive Behavior Intervention & Supports (PBIS) to meet the social-emotional needs of all students ? Competency in the administration and interpretation of multiple measures of norm-referenced and criterion-referenced assessment ? Training in a Multi-Tier System of Supports/Response to Intervention ? Training in reader’s workshop and guided reading instruction (preferred) ? Fountas & Pinnell Leveled Literacy and Benchmark Assessment training and experience (preferred) ? Any additional qualifications as deemed necessary by the Board of Education JOB RESPONSIBILITES: ? Differentiate instruction in all core subjects based on students’ readiness level, interests, academic and behavioral needs. ? Provide rigorous learning goals and/or targets that are embedded in a performance scale that includes application of knowledge. ? Administer and interpret district-wide assessment tools including, but not limited to, NWEA MAP, Fountas & Pinnell Benchmark Assessment, DIBELS, and MLPP. ? Effectively use data to monitor students’ academic and behavior progress and to evaluate your instructional practices. ? Develop and recognize adherence to classroom rules and procedures in accordance with a PBIS framework. Ability to maintain classroom control. ? Maintain accurate records to monitor student progress, disaggregate data, and generate required reports. ? Communicate and collaborate with your grade level team, building level team and Principal to support our learning community. JOB GOAL: ?
