Wanaque Board of Education is seeking a Full-Time Instructional Assistant
Salary: Starting $38,399 following the district’s salary guide.
The Instructional Assistant will support the educational goals and learning objectives of students by providing supplemental assistance to the classroom teacher. Responsibilities include:
Assisting in the supervision of classroom activities under the direction of the certified classroom teacher or other designated certified personnel.
Supporting individualized instruction and working with small groups of students to reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher.
Promoting a positive, supportive learning environment for all students.
Experience working with the Special Education population is preferred.
