IEP Writer/ Intervention Specialist Long Term Sub (Indian River JCF in Massillon)

Intervention Specialist/IEP Writer Long-Term Sub ( Full-time and/or part-time)

At least 3 long-term substitute positions available ranging from 6 weeks to 6 months duration
Some positions have possibility of full-time employment in the future due to expected  retirements
Successful candidates will write IEP's and participate in IEP conferences and be available to substitute in classrooms as may be needed

Job Location:   Indian River  Juvenile Correctional Facility (JCF) in Massillon, OH
Employer:        Portage County Educational Service Center, Ravenna, OH
Start Date:       As early as possible in August 2014

Requirements

Current/valid Ohio licensure as intervention specialist for grades 9-12
Experience and interest in working with at-risk youth
Experience writing IEPs and classroom instruction with students with disabilities
Knowledge of  state and federal laws and regulations related to serving students with disabilities
