SCHOOL SAFETY OFFICER
Mechanicsburg Area School District is seeking School Safety Officers (formerly titled, School Police Officers) effective at the beginning of the 2026/2027 school year. These are part-time positions. Hours will vary based on assignment/request.
JOB SUMMARY: Provides hospitality and general security at school-sponsored extracurricular activities and at events for which school facilities are leased by outside organizations. Please review the attached job description for additional information about the position.
Any individual who is to be considered for employment must provide school district officials with a valid Criminal History Clearance form, a valid Child Abuse History Clearance form, Act 168 form(s), and an I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification) form.
