The Ferguson-Florissant School District is a community of families and neighborhoods located in suburban St. Louis, MO. Summary of Position: The RECA Support Secretary provides comprehensive administrative, clerical, customer service, and operational support for the district's RECA response operations. This position serves as a primary point of contact for students, families, staff, and community members while assisting with records management, documentation requests, communication coordination, scheduling, and daily office operations. The position supports the district's commitment to maintaining efficient response systems, positive stakeholder engagement, accurate records processing, and effective operational workflow while helping ensure continuity of school and district services.

REPORTS TO: Executive Director of Support Services

EMPLOYMENT TERMS:

  • Temporary position - July 2026 - June 2028
  • 261 Days; 8 Hours Per Day
  • Non-exempt
  • Annual evaluation by Supervisor
     

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of clerical, administrative support, or office experience preferred.
  • Experience in a school district, educational setting, or public service environment preferred.
  • Experience with records management, documentation processing, or customer service preferred.
     

CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and standard office technology required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information appropriately.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, staff, families, and community members.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, flexibility, and problem-solving ability.
