TITLE:   Play Sponsor 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Professional licensure and an employee of the Harrison County Board of Education, preferred

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:   Principal

SELECTION:    The position is filled by the Board of Education upon recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools

SALARY:   As Per Harrison County Board of Education extra-curricular assignment schedule                                       

FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

1. Support state, county and school extra-curricular activities.


2. Work cooperatively with intra-school departments.


3. Coordinate activities with principal, teachers, and other staff members on matters relating to school plays.


4. Strive to foster good school/community relations by keeping the community aware of responsible to the play.


5. Select a director, the case, the play and crew for each play production.


6. Attend all practices and performances.


7. Conduct all tryouts and auditions.


8. Select props for the play.


9. Supervise all cast members.
