Description:
The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District, an award winning, Central Monmouth, K-8 school district with a tradition of excellence in education, is seeking a Replacement Substitute School Counselor position for Manalapan-Englishtown Middle School with the following qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Must hold proper NJ certification
  • 2702 School Counselor, or
  • 2701 Student Personnel Services or
  • 3200 School Social Worker, or
  • 3100 School Psychologist (with non-CST duties)
• Enrolled in or willing to enroll in a program or possess a CE, CEAS, or Standard New Jersey Certificate – 3461 Student Assistance Coordinator (SAC)
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, staff & community
• Middle School experience preferred
• Experience with developing behavioral intervention plans following a multi-tiered system of supports
• Provide individual and group counseling
• Experience conducting harassment, intimidation, and bullying investigations
• Knowledge on creating, implementing, and maintaining 504's
• Experience with Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) investigations

Terms of Employment:

• Leave Replacement Position
• Non-Tenure Track
• Daily Rate of Pay:
  • $315.50
