Assistant Football Coach
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Football Coach to join our Eaton High School football program. As a key member of our coaching team, you will play a vital role in helping our student-athletes reach their full potential, both on and off the field. Reports To: Athletic Director
Responsibilities:
-Support the Head Coach in coordinating the football program at the High School level
-Develop and implement practice programs to promote individual and team development
-Instruct student-athletes on football techniques, rules, and strategies
-Assess student-athlete skills and provide constructive feedback
-Maintain equipment, supplies, and uniforms, as directed by the Head Coach
-Serve as a liaison between the football program, staff, administration, and the public
-Support the planning and execution of games and events
-Model sportsmanship behavior and maintain a high level of professionalism
-Assist the Head Coach with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and distributing eligibility forms
Qualifications:
-Experience as a football participant or coach
-High School Diploma/GED
-CPR Certification
-CHSAA test and regulation
-Concussion Education
-Mental Health testing
-Mandatory Reporting
-Ability to work collaboratively with the Head Coach, Athletic Director, and other stakeholders
