Coaching Position:
Head Cheer Coach
Reports to Campus Principal and Athletic Director
Primary Purpose:
Serve as the high school varsity head coach and lead the district cheer program including all middle school and high school squads. Provide instructional strategies to develop technical skills, safety, and excel in the sport of cheerleading. The primary goal for the Coach is to facilitate skill development with an emphasis on safety, and appreciation for the values of community, spirit, sportsmanship, and cultivate an increased level of self-esteem, character, and pride for their students and team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience
CPR Certified in First Aid and AED
AACCAA/USA Cheer certification preferred
CDL Required
