Long Term Substitute Social Worker - High School - AUG-OCT

The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking applicants for the position of Long-Term Substitute Social Worker at Mt. Lebanon High School.
This is a full-time, on-site, temporary assignment, effective at the start the 2026-2027 school year, through a date to be determined, but anticipated to be October 30, 2026 (anticipated 56 days).
Due to the length of the assignment, this position will be paid the degree level daily rate at step 1 of the teachers' salary schedule with rates starting at $297 per day depending upon credential.
This position will not be eligible for paid time off or district subsidized health benefits.
Required: Active Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in School Social Worker PK-12.

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
In order to be eligible for employment, the following clearances must be furnished and approved for hire at time of job offer:
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34)
- FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114)
The following additional trainings and forms are required upon hire:
- Act 126 Child/Student Abuse Recognition and Reporting
- Arrest or Conviction Form (PDE 6004) (Act 24)
- School Personnel Health Record (Physical with TB Test)
- Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Information (Act 168)
