ATPPS Lead Teacher/Instructional Coach - Harambee Elementary

Description: Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for an ATPPS Lead Teacher and Instructional Coach at Harambee Elementary School. This position will be responsible for running the ATPPS program (Alternative Teacher Professional Pay System, commonly known as Q Comp), planning and running building PLCs, coordinating Title 1 services in the building, and coaching teachers. This position is 1.0 FTE and will start August 31, 2026.
This position will be posted internally for five days and will then be posted externally.
ATPPS Lead Teacher / Instructional Coach Responsibilities Include:
- Assists teams in setting team goal(s).
- Supports teams in developing and implementing a plan for achieving the team goal.
- Works with the admin team to 1) monitor PLC implementation, 2) monitor the work of the collaborative teams, and 3) guide teams in setting collaborative team meeting agendas.
- Assists teachers in setting a professional growth goal, aligned to the Roseville Area Schools Performance Standards.
- Coach teachers in curriculum implementation with primary focus on Language Arts, Math, and Team Teaching.
- Assist in the running of weekly PLC meetings with each grade level team.
- Support teams in analyzing CFA and other data to plan and implement intervention time.
- Build capacity of teachers in data analysis, instructional planning, and supporting the PLC process.
- Communicate regularly with building administration.
- Maintain Title 1 Documentation.
- Support Advanced Academics and Talent Development (AATD) programming.
- Support AVID implementation and documentation in grade 5 and 6.
Qualifications:
- A MN Teaching License is required
- Advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
- Demonstrated commitment to the equitable education of all students
- Successful experience in leadership roles
- Successful experience with using data to inform instructional decision making
- Knowledge and understanding of Roseville Area Schools' ATPPS program, Performance Standards, and Teacher Growth, Development and Evaluation system (training will be provided)
- Experience and knowledge of leading professional development
Compensation: Minimum full year, full time starting salary is $53,085, plus a district contribution toward health insurance. Placement on the salary schedule is based on education and experience and collective bargaining guidelines. See teacher matrix (attached). Please contact HR with questions.
