Substitute Bilingual Associate Instructor I
Hourly Rate: $16.46/hour (no benefits)
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D
Demonstrated proficiency in two (2) languages, English and the appropriate language
Experience working with children and parents with multi-cultural and multi-ethnic backgrounds
Receptive to the U.S. educational system, philosophy, policy, and methodology
Effective communication skills
Substitute Bilingual Associate Instructor II
Hourly Rate: $17.16/hour (no benefits)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or approved equivalent training (64 college semester hours) and experience
- One year of successful experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in two (2) languages, English and the appropriate language
- Experience in working with children and parents with multi-cultural and multi-ethnic backgrounds
- Receptive to the U.S. educational system, philosophy, policy, and methodology
- Effective communication skills
Substitute Bilingual Associate Instructor III
Hourly Rate: $18.63/hour (no benefits)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Three years successful experience in related field
- Demonstrated proficiency in two (2) languages, English and the appropriate language
- Receptive to U.S. educational system, philosophy, policy, and methodology
- Knowledge of or receptive to philosophy, policy and methodology of the U.S. educational system
- Effective communication skills
The following items are required in order to approve all applicants for hire:
- Criminal Records Check (instructions for CRC will be sent by JCPS Substitute Center)
- Child Abuse & Neglect Check (instructions for CAN will be sent by JCPS Substitute Center)
- TB Test Results (within 1 year)
- Physical (within 1 year)
- Official Transcripts or High School Diploma
