Description
POSITION: Special Education Assistant I / OH Aide for the Behaviorally Focused and Extended Learning Classrooms
HOURS: 7 hours per day
DAYS: 188 days per year
LOCATION: Chestnut (ELC) / Pine (ELC, BFC) / NO Middle School (BFC)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma
- Willingness to support students with various academic, social, and adaptive skills during the school day
- The ability to support student IEP goals and objectives as directed by an Intervention Specialist
- The ability to take necessary student data throughout the school day
- Position may require lifting and various hygiene-related tasks
- The willingness to participate in ongoing professional development learning opportunities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to collaborate on a team to create a positive learning environment that facilitates student academic and social goals
RATE OF PAY: $22.09 - $23.55
EFFECTIVE DATE
OF VACANCY: 2026-2027 School Year
