JOB EXPECTATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Position Purpose / Description |
Under the supervision of the Instructional Assistant Coordinator, the Adult Education Instructional Assistant is responsible for performing the following duties:
1. Entering data
2. Performing daily recordkeeping
3. Managing student information (digital and hard copies)
4. Providing clerical assistance including copying and organizing
5. Assisting with student testing
6. Providing general classroom assistance including working with students as needed
7. Other duties as assigned
| Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
1. Candidates with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred. However, a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma (GED/HiSET) will be considered.
2. Work experience in education is desired.
3. Candidates are required to be innovative, creative and enthusiastic.
4. Must have strong organization skills and excellent communication skills.
