Description: Full-time Out of District Coordinator needed for the Bedford School District beginning July 1, 2026. Position is a teacher contract with flexibility in scheduling across the full year (189 days).
Job Summary: This position provides oversight, supervision and monitoring of special education students K-12 currently enrolled in out of district placements. This includes facilitating the referral and application process for Bedford students that may require out of district placement. The Out of District Coordinator will work closely with the New England Center for Children's Partner Classroom as the Bedford LEA Representative. The Out of District Coordinator is also the LEA Representative for students parentally placed in charter schools. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and writing skills, be a problem-solver and effective collaborator with community and school partners.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Special Education or related field and NH certification in general special education, preferably Special Education Administration. Knowledge of Special Education Law, NHSEIS system experience and proven ability to work effectively with students, families and teams K-12.
