WFMS Principal (6th-8th)

JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE:  Middle School Principal                   

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Meets requirements as outlined in Louisiana Bulletin 746 (Louisiana Standards of State Certification of School Personnel) for Educational Leader and the West Feliciana School Board
• Physical and mental stamina and ability to perform job functions, tasks, and duties

Employment Details:

• Full-Time Position (242 day/12 month employee)
• Health Insurance, Benefits, TRSL Retirement

REPORTS TO:           Supervisor as designated by superintendent

SUPERVISES:            Assistant Principals and assigned teachers and staff

SALARY: As designated on Salary Schedule

Job Goal:

• To provide vision, culture, and instructional leadership that efficiently and effectively results in increased student achievement. To lead the district in creating an organization of one, increasing student achievement and establishing school community relationships. Louisiana Leader Rubric Domains and Indicators will be used for Leader evaluation in conjunction with measures of student growth.  Measures of student growth will be aligned with the Louisiana Accountability System.
