Littleton High School is an International Baccalaureate World School where all students in grades 8-10 are enrolled in IB Middle Years Program courses. Students in grades 11-12 opt in to the IB Diploma Program. LHS also offers a full complement of AP classes, as well as a STEM Certificate, and Early High School, a unique full-day program for eighth graders on the LHS campus. LHS also hosts the district English Language Development programming for high school students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Welcome and check all students into counseling, help them access appropriate support (counselor, mental health, post-grad, registrar, etc).
- Welcome incoming families and direct to proper support personnel
- Answer calls, reply to all general inquiry department emails
- Check-in and support NHS tutors daily
- Student Assistant attendance and management of Weekly Schedule
- Support students with work permits, Orange Cards, Orientation Cards, etc.
Appointments:
- Schedule appointments and maintain Counseling Department Calendar
- Manage and maintain all supplies and equipment
- Maintain school-wide digital displays
- Schedule Department Meetings (Create/Keep Agenda and log notes/minutes)
Correspondence(s):
- Prepare and confirm Counseling Announcements and Counselor family communications
- Collaborate with the Registrar to schedule all Enrollment Meetings
- Coordinate with Senior teachers (per Semester) to catalog and track academic progress.
Budget & Expenses:
- Track and maintain Department Budget
- Track Monthly Expense Report(s) and collaborate with Bookkeeper when necessary.
Record-Keeping
- Document all forms (Counseling; graduation; Registration; etc.) and ensure they are updated (and stocked).
- Process Open Enrollments (all year), follow up/make contact with incomplete applications to obtain that district registration is complete, etc.
- Graduation documentation, planning and coordination (Collaboration with AP in charge of Graduation) (and other duties as assigned)
- State Assessment documentation, planning and coordination (and other duties as assigned) (Collaboration with AP in charge of School Assessment Coordination).
- Updating and maintaining the Infinite Campus Database
- Collaborate with the Registrar to support October Count and Open Enrollment documentation
Office Logistics:
- Keep office clean - dust weekly, vacuum furniture as needed, clean kitchen daily
- Maintain all bulletin boards throughout the building for current information
- Monitor hallway and support class transitions
- Check calculators in and out for staff
- Coordinate College Visits with Post-Graduate Center (as needed)
- Coordinate Grade-Level tours (group and individual)
Coordinate New Student Orientation
This Position is for the 2026-2027 school year.
