LTS, Technology Education (Tech Ed) - 1.0 FTE - East Middle School

Description:

Shakopee Public Schools is searching for a 1.0 FTE Long Term Substitute (LTS) to teach Technology Education (Tech Ed) at Shakopee East Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. This assignment is from approximately August 24, 2026 through June 4, 2027.

Job Summary:
Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability, creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members.  

Qualifications:

• Current MN teaching license in Technology or Industrial Arts.
• Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff.

Working Conditions: 
Classroom & Shop/Lab environment.

Salary ranges from $52,020 to $72,676 depending upon education level.
