Junior High (7th / 8th Grade) Math / Religion Teacher - St. Anthony School (Archdiocese of Seattle)
Overview: St. Anthony School, a vibrant, 370-student Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Seattle, is seeking to hire a junior high Math/Religion teacher to join our dedicated faculty team in the Fall 2026. This teacher will join a highly collaborative junior high team and teach 7th and 8th grade Math and one Religion class to his/her homeroom students. We are seeking to hire a positive, prepared and dedicated Catholic school educator to join our strong faculty team and help us fulfill our school mission.

Requirements and Key Responsibilities:
- Holds the knowledge and skills to implement effective instructional strategies for student success through a highly organized, motivated, creative, and collaborative approach to teaching
- Utilizes standards-based assessments and grading and consistently uses formative assessments to drive instruction
- Develops and implements Math lesson plans aligned with Common Core State Standards and learning objectives
- Creates a rigorous and supportive classroom learning environment that fosters student engagement and encourages students to be respectful, responsible, and reverent.
- Evaluates and communicates student progress effectively with students, parents, and administrators
- Utilizes technology as a tool for enhanced teaching and learning
- Differentiates instruction so all students able to achieve mastery of learning targets
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
- Effectively and consistently communicates with students, colleagues, and parents
- Preferred, but not required, that the successful candidate will be a practicing Catholic.
- Holds a current State of Washington teacher certification certificate or the ability to obtain one
Salary/Benefits Information: Salary range: $44,714 - $88,825. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
